Bliss offers four weight management treatments. They work in similar ways but differ in how they're taken, how much weight loss they typically produce, and how much they fit around your routine.
Mounjaro (tirzepatide)
- Weekly injection
- Works on two hormones — GIP and GLP-1
- Clinical trials have shown average weight loss of around 20%+ at the highest doses over 72 weeks
- Doses from 2.5mg to 15mg
Wegovy injection (semaglutide)
- Weekly injection
- Works on one hormone — GLP-1
- Clinical trials have shown average weight loss of around 15% over 68 weeks
- Doses from 0.25mg to 2.4mg
Wegovy pill (semaglutide)
- Daily tablet, taken first thing on an empty stomach
- Same active ingredient as the Wegovy injection
- Needle-free, but needs a consistent morning routine — it must be taken with no more than 120ml of water and nothing else for 30 minutes afterwards
- Doses from 1.5mg to 25mg
Foundayo (orforglipron)
- Daily tablet, taken at any time of day
- A non-peptide GLP-1 — a different type of molecule to the others, which is why it doesn't need the same food and water restrictions
- Clinical trials have shown average weight loss of around 12% at the highest dose over 72 weeks
- Doses from 0.8mg to 17.2mg
- The most flexible option to fit around daily life
Which one?
There's no single best treatment. Injections tend to produce more weight loss on average; the tablets avoid needles. Between the two tablets, the Wegovy pill needs a strict morning routine while Foundayo can be taken whenever suits you.
All four are MHRA-approved. The right one for you depends on your medical history, eligibility, tolerance and clinical assessment — your prescriber will recommend the most suitable option during your consultation.
