Foundayo is a once-daily weight management tablet containing orforglipron. It was approved by the MHRA in August 2026, making the UK the first country in Europe to authorise it.
How it works
Orforglipron is a GLP-1 receptor agonist — it works on the same pathway as Mounjaro and Wegovy, reducing appetite, increasing fullness and slowing digestion.
What makes it different is its chemistry. It's a non-peptide small molecule, which means it survives the stomach without needing special coatings or an empty stomach. That's why it has no food or water restrictions.
How to take it
One tablet daily, at any time of day, with or without food, with no restriction on water.
Try to take it at roughly the same time each day. Beyond that, it's designed to fit around your routine rather than the other way round.

Your dose steps up automatically each month as part of your plan. If you'd like to stay on your current dose, you need to tell us — get in touch through our contact form at least two days before your next dispatch date. After that point your next month's medication has already been prescribed and prepared.
How it compares
In clinical trials, Foundayo produced average weight loss of around 12% at the highest dose over 72 weeks. That's lower than Mounjaro (around 20%+) and the Wegovy injection (around 15%).
The trade-off is convenience — it's the only one of our treatments that needs no injection and no timing around meals.
Is it right for me?
Foundayo is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related health condition. Your prescriber will assess your eligibility during your consultation.
It shouldn't be taken alongside another GLP-1 medication.
